Recognizing Recipients

Kaitlyn Woodman '17 just received her acceptance into the College of Pharmacy at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where she will receive a GEGF-sponsored scholarship!!! Congrats, Kaitlyn! We are so proud of you!

Roberta Dume '13 just finished her last rotation at the College of Pharmacy at Rosalind Franklin! She also received a competitive post-graduate residency through the University of Minnesota! Way to go, Roberta!

Cade Brittain '19 and Nebojsa Markovic '18 started volunteering at the Wildlife Discovery Center, where they will help take care of the resident animals and educate visitors.

Joaquin Basile Patron '16 recently helped manage social media during an important heritage-focused workshop in Glasgow, as part of his GEGF Bridge Program.

Norma Vargas '18 started her internship with the Highland Park-Highwood Legal Aid Clinic, the first GEGF internship at that site!

Groner Recipients recently took part in a GEGF-hosted self-defense and travel safety workshop! Besides practicing the best methods for hitting and kicking, participants learned about avoiding, defusing and reporting dangerous situations.

Groner Recipients have donated 78 service hours through this semester's GEGF group volunteer days. Recipients have served at Lake Forest Open Lands, Feed My Starving Children, The First Presbyterian Church and Bernie's Book Bank.

Decisions are out! Recipients for the GEGF-program at Monteverde Institute, the Falmouth Field School of Tangible Heritage and the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science have been selected and finalized! We know you are all going to do such great things this summer!
